The Youtube algorithm is ever-shifting, ever-changing. A video that would catch two million eyeballs if posted one day may instead languish in obscurity because it was instead posted a day later and the algorithm had been updated in between.

Really, all success depends partly on luck, and successful people inevitably downplay the part luck had in their success.

And/or YouTube audiences loved seeing Kimidori fumble and blush.

Although honestly, you need to at least level your sound before you throw something on YouTube...

From what little I learned of the species from the yuureidoushi series, moving in where they're wanted is what zashiki-warashi do. And personality quirks notwithstanding, that's apparently supposed to be a good thing.
