When this artist uses the term "看板娘" or "kanban musume", they are referring to Esia Mariveninne. Google keeps translating "kanban" to "signboard" but it also suggests the term combined with "musume" ("girl") can also mean "showgirl". I am not sure what the intended meaning is.

She might be doing an Alice in Wonderland cosplay here, but the source isn't super clear about it.

P.S.: On the Twitter thread for this picture (https://twitter.com/Komone_Ushio/status/1368548444097323012) the artist appears to indicate that there is an Alice in Wonderland theme to it.

The meaning is explained in both pixiv dictionary and on danbooru when you search wikis for "看板娘", it's another name for original on danbooru, detailed explanation for it on the original wiki: "看板娘 ("Poster Girl" of Artist's Webpage)".

Cool! Thanks for the clarification. It has been a while since I looked at the "original" page of the wiki, so that piece of info escaped me. (I might have remembered it better if it were written in romaji instead of kanji!)
