Apparantly it's an established fan name for the alternative reality version of Rei from the end of the original Evangelion series. I guess it's because she has a similar personality and the same voice actress as Lina Inverse from Slayers which aired at the same time.
I wonder if we should add a tag for her, as Pixiv has.
