    1970年代くらいのシロモノなんで、実物を見たことある人は結構な歳だと思います。
    レコードがなんなのかもわからない人もそろそろいるんじゃないかなと!
    針を溝に這わせて音を出す昔のCDみたいなものです。

    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 2828

Since these were products from the 1970s, I imagine anyone who's seen the actual things is fairly old.

There's probably even people who have no idea what a record is! It's like an ancient type of CD where you make a needle run through a groove and sound comes out.

Reader-added tags include "Go to an appraiser", "Nostalgic treasures" and "Throwing these out would be unthinkable!!"

Don't worry Kogasa we surely know about record.
....but this is the first time I see one from vinyl and is not BLACK.

Mid to late 40s. He's been doing Touhou books for 20 years now.

And that just makes you realize how long Touhou has been around...

I've seen this before in the US (not these specifically, of course), but every now and then you would see different-colored records, or records included with magazines, toys...I even vaguely remember getting one out of a cereal box.

    Even stranger: some of said records were cut square. (The grooves were still round, of course.) Never learned what was up with that. ^^;;

I could never get hold of these again!!
Records made of thin vinyl that were included ages ago as bonus items in children's magazines and such.
    Now THAT takes me back!
Flexi discs. Author typo: ソノソート (Sonosort) should be ソノシート(Sonosheet)
They popped up when I was cleaning up.
    Kogasaaa! Something nostalgic's turned up.
I was thinking of throwing them out with the trash...
    What, what is it?
    No way!!
