Are those unlockable panties?

Perhaps in the Japanese version

you could choose the panty color on the dreamcast version by holding the corresponding button on the controller =)
and the blu one on the left on cassandra was my fav :-P

I don't remember cassandra being in soul calibur on dreamcast.
